We're nearing the completion of Week 31 of this pregnancy. It doesn't seem real that in 9 weeks or less we will finally get to meet the new addition to our family! Passed the doctor's visit with flying colors yesterday. She did mention that the baby may be big, but that it's still too early to tell anything concrete so we'll just wait and see. I asked if there would be any more ultrasounds because of course I'm dying to see this little guy and the doctor said it is possible but still uncertain if another will be needed. I'm okay either way, I simply wanted another ultrasound for completely selfish reasons - can't blame me for trying to get another glimpse!
Baby class this week was informative and surprising. We entered fully expecting to watch the graphic birthing video, but to our surprise our instructor spent the time showing diagrams and simply talking about the birthing process and said that she's not a huge fan of the videos so we won't be watching them. We practiced breathing techniques, labor positions and discussed the different options in pain medications. I also learned that apparently you don't get to eat anything during labor at the hospital! You'd better believe I'm going to have a hearty snack before we head out to spend countless hours in labor!
This weekend is full of lots of activities and errands to run - should be a great time! A tiny sinus infection has been attempting to slowly creep up on me for the last week and hopefully it won't show its nasty face this weekend!

Hi Beck! I know it's been a minute since we had a chance to talk! At any rate, it looks like all's well with you, Mitch and baby. I'm so excited for you guys! I won't be able to make it on the 28th (nephew's bday), but Karen's bringing my gift! Talk to you soon! Michele.
