Okay, okay, so it's been a whirl-wind of trying to find a football theme that we really like and isn't too "cutesy". To each his own for choosing baby nursery decor, but the powder blue cutesy bears holding footballs isn't really my style, so I was forced to improvise! In the end, Mitch won the battle and we will be decorating Baby Isaacs nursery in Colts gear! Hooray!!! I have to admit that I'm pretty excited too! The photo (on the left) is the first item purchased for the nursery! We're going to attempt to keep the nursery fairly simple and not too over the top (yeah right!) and find a solid royal blue baby crib bumper and maybe a Colts/football lamp. Since we really can't paint or hang new curtains, we're going to work with what we have. Either way I'm pretty excited to clear out our guest room and convert it into the nursery because the baby treasures I keep finding are beginning to pile up in our closets!
Updates: No real updates to post today; Baby Isaacs continues to kick like crazy! It's funny because he seems to have a schedule, so I know when he will be very active throughout the morning, afternoon and evening hours and when he's resting. I'm sure this doesn't matter for when he joins us in the real world, but if it indicates anything at all then I'm fairly pleased because he seems to rest throughout much of the night (let's keep our fingers crossed for that!). I have had much more energy in the last couple of days, not being able to fall asleep until several hours way past my bedtime and waking up a couple of hours before the alarm goes off - for someone who really enjoys her sleeping time it's completely strange not to seem to need it right now! I don't know if I'm just getting excited about everything or if it's just my body changing, but either way I'm getting lots more cleaning and laundry done!
Daddy-to-be Updates: Mitch is deep in Student Staff Orientation so he's been keeping really busy working long days/nights. Of course he always makes the time to greet the baby in the morning and talk to the baby at night before bedtime. Because we had a deal prior to knowing the gender of the baby that if we found out we were having a girl I would get to choose the name and if we were expecting a boy the name choice was all up to Mitch, Mitch has been busy thinking and figuring out a list of possible baby names! Yes, he really gets to choose our baby's name! Now I do have a little veto power (for example, our baby will not have the name Spiderman or Voltron) but for the most part Mitch has been coming up with some really great choices that we both love! We're trying to wait to name the baby until he is born to see what name fits him perfect!
Thanks to ALL for all your love, support and kind words through this new and exciting journey for us! It's such a blessing to have such phenomenal friends and family in our lives. It's been so great to receive your words of encouragement, advice and kindness through comments on this site, email and on the phone. Have a great week!

Ahh, I see...so now I know that I need to concentrate my efforts on Mitch in choosing Mandrake. Good to know. :) Tell Mitch I shall be calling him shortly to discuss this matter. Hope you're well and hope to speak to you soon!
Mangi
You do realize that you could have a baby named Xander, right? Go Buffy! Ha ha! I'm so glad that you are energetic and doing so well. I miss you!!!
Okay, I'll rescind my earlier comment about the Colts nursery issue. I just wanted you to know you had our approval -- I guess you didn't need it though. You still BLEED BLUE and we still think you're great. :) I got a LOT of Ethan's stuff on eBay, and by the way, there IS such thing as a Colts crib set. Just FYI. Also, why can't you put up Colts curtains...use one of those spring-release rods, darlin!
