Homeward Bound We Go!

We got the great news that Charley has successfully passed all of his tests and has been 5 days free of apnea episodes! (This is the time to jump up and down and yell happy things!)

What does this mean???? What it means is that we will be spending the next two nights with Charley at the hospital. This will allow the doctors to make sure he can nurse all through the night while still gaining weight. As long as this goes well we will be heading home on Wednesday. We can't tell you how absolutely ready we are to bring him home. In the past few days Charley has really grown and changed - he is much more alert and awake and amazing.

Of course as soon as he is home we will welcome visitors, although it will still be somewhat limited since we have to be cautious of RSV and colds and such. Just know that you will be dowsed with antibacterial hand sanitizer and a hose once you enter our home! Okay, maybe no hose, but still! Take care to all.
