Oh, Baby!

Friday morning around 5a.m. we headed to the hospital because I was having early contractions (about 2-3 minutes apart). Since then we have seen three doctors and recieved excellent care. A magnesium sulfate drip slowed down the contractions. All tests indicate that the baby should not arrive for a few more weeks. However, if he does arrive early the doctors have assured us that the baby should survive without any long term consequences.
Late this morning we were released to go home and I now have a pump attached to my leg that is continuously feeding my body medicine to stop the contractions. I have been put on bed rest for the next three weeks (until I reach 36 weeks).
Thanks to everyone for their well wishes and prayers - Baby Isaacs is blessed to have such wonderful people in his life already. We continue to be extremely hopeful and pray that he decides to listen and keep on growing for at least a few more weeks if not more.

I'm sure I'll continue to post updates since I'll just be hanging out in bed for quite sometime!

Take care - best wishes to all.
