It's Only Wednesday? Bummer!

I had a restless night of sleep last night; Mitch is out of town at RHD training so it was difficult to go to sleep without him at home. Ginny came into town last night, and it was really great catching up. Luckily she'll be in town on Saturday, so I think we're all going to do some garage sale shopping and breakfast - watch out garage sales, some damage is about to be done! Mitch's birthday is tomorrow - he hits the big 26!

Baby Developments: Baby Isaacs has finally decided to move/kick! Hooray for that! I feel a light tapping sensation in my lower belly at least a few times every hour. I can't feel the movements from the outside yet, but give it time and I'm sure it will feel like the baby is trying to break out! My belly has really started to round out considerably and it frightens me a bit when I see women who are 8-9 months along and their bellies are SO big! How is this possible???? The other night I told Mitch that I have decided that I'm no longer playing this "Let's go to the bathroom every 15 minutes" game! Therefore, I stated that I was not going to go any more! He said jokingly, "Way to stick it to the man honey!" - of course, 3 minutes later I was running to the restroom! I tell you what, the second I take a sip of water I have to go to the bathroom! Granted, I've really been trying to drink 8 glasses a day, so that doesn't help - but I think I'm going to start being considered a part-time employee for as many times as I get up to use the restroom. I know, I know, it only gets worse.

Only 2 days until our next Dr.'s appointment!!!!! HOORAY! Hopefully the baby will cooperate and let us know if he/she is a HE/SHE! I am scheduled to work 1/2 day on Friday, but at some point I will be sure to post the results on this blog. I have added a list (to the right) of people who do NOT want to know the gender of the baby - this is a courtesy to them, so we'll try at all costs not to mention it. Of course, I have absolutely no idea how they exactly think it's going to pan out, but to each his own, right?! If you'd like to be added to the list, please add a comment on this post and I will gladly add your name. Keep in mind, if you DO NOT want to know the sex of Baby Isaacs, you should NOT read the blog from Friday through the delivery date (or talk to my nephew Isaac, because it's possible he could unknowingly spoil the surprise! :) ).

Dad-to-be Update: Mitch has been such a great Dad-to-be. I went to a dinner the other night with his colleagues and everyone kept asking if I was excited about Friday - come to find out, he had made an announcement that the thing he is most excited about this week is hopefully finding out the gender of our baby! Too cute! His support has been incredible and I am astounded to the love this man can have.

Happy Wednesday - get back to work!

I enjoy reading your blog. I know these next two days will DRAG as you await the ultrasound, but it will be well worth the wait. Your belly pics are too cute. I'm glad he/she is finally moving for you. I picked up a little "blue" something for you last week, but of course, it will go well for a boy OR a girl. Football knows no gender. Love & hugs, Cheryl

Hugs and kisses to you both! What an exciting time! I can only imagine how excited Mitch is - and what kind of silly dances he's doing when he talks about the little one. I hope you're both doing well, remember, he'll return home from training eventually! Sending happy thoughts your way (and tell Mitch I said hi!)
